Dr Caroline Alms BVM&S MSc MRCVS has been a practicing veterinarian since 2018 experiencing GP, Emergency, Specialty Hospitals, Business Ownership and House-call work.
VetTeQ was born from the ambition to simplify and improve pet healthcare by supporting clients beyond the consult room. By making actioning vet advice easier and improving education, pet owners can take more ownership on their pets wellbeing which improves outcomes and trust.
VetTeQ is to become the universal tool for managing pet health from infant to senior, supporting both pet owner and professionals in their approaches to the common goal of healthier, happier pets!
Sayaka, originally from Japan, grew up across Asia before moving to Canada in 2014. With a background in UI/UX design, she has worked in AI, fintech, and healthcare, including developing systems for genetic and mental health research at BC Children’s Hospital. Now the Founding Designer at VetTeQ, she combines her healthcare expertise with her lifelong passion for animals.
Dr. Rachel Tari is an Ontario-raised veterinarian who studied at the University of Guelph and the Royal Veterinary College in London, where she developed a passion for emergency medicine and critical care. She now works as an emergency veterinarian in Vancouver, B.C., and is excited to join VetTeq as a veterinary consultant.
